New Autism Program Starting Soon at Mesilla Valley Hospital! 

Mesilla Valley Hospital is proud to announce it will be opening a specialty residential program for adolescents (12-17 years of age) diagnosed with autism and autism spectrum disorders in early 2012. The program will utilize empirically-supported interventions, associated therapies, and educational strategies and will address associated medical issues, co-occurring mental health conditions, and challenging behaviors per the needs of each patient. Our team of multi-disciplinary professionals will create individualized treatment plans for each patient and will include family in the treatment process. Mesilla Valley Hospital will provide support, training, and education to families, so they will be better equipped to assist their child when the child reintegrates back into the home.
